Yesterday was the first day I've ever spent just dedicated to photography (and driving

). The weather was better than I expected. I went in search of some remote waterfalls, and I mean remote. I'm much more familiar with the falls in New Hampshire, as they're usually, um, marked. Even if it's a little sign, there's some place you can see clearly while driving that this is the place to pull over and start your hike. The ones I visited yesterday would be impossible to find unless you were actively looking for them.

Anyways, I'll have a series of these shots coming up over the next week or two. I'll try to break the monotony of waterfalls with a few other things.
One more little story. I sort of broke my tripod at the start of my trip yesterday.
Cold weather + plastic hinges = broken plastic hinges
I didn't really think much of it, as it only limits how low to the ground I can get now. However, I was unaware of my tripod waiting for an opportunity to seek vengeance. While moving a slide, it jumped out and bit me! Gave me a nice slice across my hand. I know people will sometimes try to get revenge, but this is my first experience with an inanimate object doing this. Oh well...

Even if humanity should end in a terrible apocalypse, and I was the only person left alive on Earth spending my days battling flesh-eating zombies, Id still find time to shoot. I cant imagine doing anything else. *Ian-Plant
